I stand still. I realize that I've been going without thinking.
The roots are gone and I am shrinking.
I know where we started, I held you close, holding your hand.
I am lost and the trees that sheltered me are gone.
I do not recognize this surroundings of the bleak land.
We pull each other down, buried are the dreams.
Slowly we descended further into the depths of coldness.
I am tired of struggling. So tired of swimming against the waves.
I imagine myself walking into the sea. Walking in the real cold ocean.
I stand still. Deep down in the earth it has been buried.
Keeping our secret moments and hopes and childish dreams.
Forever it will lay there; the commitment.
Above here , there is nothing left for me anymore.
